| Highway 14 running into or out of Cedar City is an excellent motorcycle road taking a rider over the tops of summits reaching nearly 10,000. It's colder than the dickens, even in the summer it's cold on the Summit of Cedar Canyon. I could only guess by looking at a map that this was going to be a great ride, and it was. Highway 14 runs the gamut of long sweeping curves, and of course the nice short curves weaving back and forth through pine trees and multi-colored red rock formations that Utah is famous for. We think you'll enjoy the 40 mile highway as much as we did. Only caution would be the winter, as black ice collects here and there across the summit. There are warnings posted for chains. | ||||||||
