This guided motorcycle road trip starts off from Las Vegas for three days and two nights across the Dixie National Forest of Southern Utah and Kaibab National Forest of Northern Arizona. Yes, we'll visit The Grand Canyon North Rim AND Bryce Canyon extensively.

The North Rim is about 1,000 ft higher in elevation and may not be accessible during winter months (Dec 1st - May 15th), AND early morning temperatures may be down in the latter 30's and 40's in November. We'll drive through areas of Utah that are meant for folks who like to tour on motorcycles. They have been known to lock their gates due to weather in October.

Day 1 - 256 Miles - First day out will include our visit to Bryce Canyon, where we'll stay the first night. Utah is just full of wonderful motorcycle roads with spectacular art work of pastures, mountains, streams, lakes and brooks.

Day 2 - 233 Miles - Day 2 will be a long sweep across breath taking scenery of butte's and vistas while we head from Bryce to the Grand Canyon. Most likely, this may just be one of the best days on the seat of a motorcycle you've come to experience as we cruise through long sweeping curvy roads of all kinds along mountains, sweeping hills of beautiful forested areas.

Day 3 - 194 Miles - Day 3 will no doubt bring visions of what some parts of Utah are famous like a visit through Zion National Park while we head across the high desert plains.

The Empire Canyons Tour

For the next few hundred miles as we edge our way to out of Nevada to Southern Utah just set back, relax and enjoy what we'll see from the seat of our bikes.

After making our way through a few cities we'll climb the summit, the summit reaches 10,400ft and requires chains in the winter. During riding weather though, it's a favorite among our highways we love to travel on.

Back on the highway, it's a journey we've made many times and love the ride through Southern Utah.

Still working our way down into the Grand Canyon where we're confronted with miles of long sweeping enjoyable curves! In the fall as can be seen below, the Aspen's are beginning to change colors in the forest.

This open plateau around the outside of the North Rim of the Grand Canyon is spectacular in the springtime. All these open fields flourish with small flowers.

For day 2 we've done a lot of traveling and starting to see the long shadows.

We were a mile or so down this dirt area. We're now headed to the North Rim.

Alas... Were Here!
